Overview

台好甲 Tai Ho Jiak, nestled in the bustling heart of Kepong at Laman Rimbunan, stands out as a vibrant Taiwanese culinary gem. This eatery delivers a genuine taste of Taiwan through an inviting menu that highlights comfort foods like the Vege Hot Pot and the iconic Handcraft Signature Bun, showcasing the brand's commitment to traditional flavors with a contemporary touch.

The restaurant's diverse noodle selections are particularly impressive. From the rich, aromatic Boneless Pork Rib Herbal Soup Noodle to the tangy, satisfying Kimchi Pork or Beef Soup Noodle, each bowl offers layered flavors that speak to the essence of Taiwanese street fare. Complementing these are snacks like the crispy Fengjia Chicken Chop and the delicate Fried Wantan, perfect for sharing or as a starter to build anticipation for the main dishes.

Visit on: 7 Jun 2025 Never disappooint on the service and food. Peak hour dinner time also able manage for 5 pax to dine in. Food portion is big and best part, the spicy level is adjustable on fried chicken chop or rice when ordering. Recommend : Feng Jia Chicken Chop set comes with braised pork rice and soup. Other also not bad. Bad part, is hard find parking in this area as too crowded with restaurants.

Great value and delicious food. We came here thanks to a friend’s recommendation (her office is just a few doors away). This place was buzzing at 6pm when we arrived. Full of people! But we quickly found a table and ordered our food - a dry sesame noodle that was topped with popcorn chicken and a side of seaweed soup and a grilled salmon mentai with seaweed soup, cucumber pickle and rice topped with minced pork and braised egg. Absolutely delicious and delightful. The only thing is that it was noisy as there were so many people in the restaurant

Main dishes taste decent or normal. Personally I like the small portion braised pork on the set rice. We ordered the signature dessert, not too sweet if you didn't finish the brown sugar given, and the powder taste a mixture of peanut and almond, shaved ice is not soft enough. The blue pea drinks is actually Earl grey milk tea which I never expect.. Price is reasonable with the meal size. Served wrong a hot drinks with cold drinks but the waitress apologize and being attentive when we ask for extra chili sauce. Crowded at dinner time when we went about 7pm and being seated near to toilet.
